The September 2012 edition of American Vogue features Lady Gaga, her oversized fluffy hair and over the top fun styling can all be seen in this behind the scene video of the shoot.
This special issue is American Vouges Septemberâs 120th anniversary issue. Lady Gaga has been photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The main cover features Gaga wearing a Marc Jacobs pink patchwork dress that references Vogueâs first-ever cover in 1892.
The Jeffrey Campbell Paradigm collection is exclusive to Karmaloop and in fact Karmalopp buyer Joe Farese even helped dream up this collection. For a collaboration is does really well at capturing the essence of both brands, Jeffrey Campbell’s coolness and eccentricity and Karmaloop’s laid back street stye. What really gave this collection an edge and buzz from the beginning was the illustrated look book by Human Aliens. His drawings were amazing and added true futuristic personality to the designs. We literally wished we could run out and buy some horns to accessories our next outfit.
The sport luxe look isn’t one we often go for but after seeing the Nike Liberty concealed wedge trainers up close we definitely understand the appeal. We would have loved to see the shoes style more similarly to the look book and will be looking out for great street style photo’s featuring the Paradigm collection. With prices starting at around £130 for a wedged pair (not including shipping) we expect many people will shy away opting for a more wearable pair of Jeffrey Campbell’s. We have our eyes on The Ascension Shoe in Black Combo.
You can purchase shoes from the collection on Karmaloop www.karmaloop.com
Ceri Remix - Carlo Gambino & Al Bradley - Automatick
Due for release by 3am Recordings on the 3rd September , here is a clip of Carlo Gambino & Al Bradley - Automatick, remixed by Ceri.
“Adding some superb twisted tech vibes to the release, 3am welcomes back the uber-wicked Ceri, whose reworking of “Automatick” ups the tempo & creates a real deep-tech bomb; again recreating a tough bass-driven vibe & adding some freaky FX lines, Ceri ups the ante & shows why she is being headhunted by labels left, right & centre.”
Due for release on 3rd September by 3am Recordings
catalogue number: TAM70
Every month vogue focuses on one fashionable figure for the Today I’m wearing feature, past contributors include Solange Knowles and Eliz Doolittle.
This month the fashionable stylings of Rita Ora will grace our computer screens. Singer Rita Ora is often known for not being scared to be seen wearing something away from the norm.
We just can’t wait to see what gems she’ll be wearing.
This b side track released last year by Benoit and Sergio seems to have the right amounts of everything. Enough subtle chants to get the words into your head with being to repetitive, enough understated bass and the perfect measure of trance inducing beats.
If you werenât sure before, you can rest assured that flatforms are here to stay. After having there fashionable seal of approval from Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld himself. Flatforms were found littering the new cruise collection 12/13 catwalk in pastel hues for that extra summery feeling. So feel free to leave the heels behind this holiday by hoping for a fashionable flat.
A sandal flatform is perfect for the summer sun but laced up styles are just as practical for evening wear. A popular flatform style are creepers, and if your unsure about splashing out many high street shops have their own interpretations.
With a range of styles available flatforms are set to take you from your beach break to the city streets.
